The above Dulcimer #0004 was special made for Tommy L. Barnett. It is made from Red Cedar with Walnut nut and bridge and Oak fret markers giving this Dulcimer a rich mellow sound.

The 1.6mm German Silver Fretwire allows for easy of fretting, with Grover  STA-TITE tuning keys for non slip tuning 

Each DuLce Melos Dulcimer is hand made one at a time allowing the Luthier to pay special attention to Your Dulcimer

The "Butter Nut"
The "Butter Nut" was hand made from trees fell by its new owner.
The Client ask if I could build a dulcimer from trees he had cut from his land and air dried.

The Butter Nut is made from Sassafras, Catalpa, Curly Maple, Knurled Walnut, Red Oak, Yellow wood and deer bone and the sound holes are made from Butter Nuts.

The "Butter Nut" is definitely a one of a kind
